Today was a water day at school....and there have been a couple of pictures posted. Kayden looks like he had a blast!!!! .....although I totally forgot to send water appropriate shoes. Oh well....
Since little miss Emery likes to stand up so much, we decided to get her an exersaucer so she could stand up on her own...which might allow mom to get some things done around the house.
Look at my big girl!
She's still small, so we have to stuff an entire blanket in front of her to keep her upright
This is kinda fun!
My silly boy
Can't have a video of one wiht out the other!
And some other pictures from the past week/weekend
I'm boring I guess
Its almost impossible to get both to look at the camera at the same time!
And how cute is this girl??!!!!
And it only took me 3 months to paint E's little baby toes! Sooooo cute!!!!
Now that its hott, the ice cream truck has started to make its rounds. Luckily we were playing outside when it did, so I grabbed some money and Kayden and I got some ice cream cones! Fabulous idea.
Good thing we were outside..........here's why....
The start of something wonderful...
Yeah!!! Ice cream!!!!
Whats it doing on your belly?
I'll just wipe that off...
Its melting!
Oh so good!
All done!
Following this....I washed him with the hose! Hahaha....he loved it.
So now that Kayden is officially 3, the doctor said it was time to visit the dentist! So we made our first appointment and tried it out. Kayden did great!!!
He wasn't too keen on the idea of laying in the chair by himself, even though he could watch a move on the ceiling, so I held him in my lap while the hygenist worked. He did great. She walked him through everything. He even got x-rays! Love this kid. When we were done he got to pick out a toy, the dentist did a final check and then we were on our way. Easy as pie!
Ready to go!
waiting for the dentist
guarding his goodie bag
His bottom teeth....with adult teeth all lined up!
Last weekend we decided to get out of Stillwater for a nice three day weekend and head to Austin to visit. It was great to get out of town for the weekend and do something different. I didn't totally think through the 8 hour drive with two kids alone, but thankfully a DVD player kept Kayden focused and I only had to stop 3 times to feed Emery. Not too shabby!
Kayden loved playing with Rah Rah and her puppy Miss Prissy. Emery was content as long as she was being given attention. We didn't do anything special, just enjoyed a weekend away. Can't wait to go again!
Emery is ready to get out of the car!
Playing with trains outside
Look at my sweet girl! Auntie love shirt and jeggings!
Rah Rah had a DVD player in the car and her's had headphones!
I taught Rah Rah how to use the moby wrap
playing at the children's museum
Can I drive Rah Rah's car? Pretty Please!
Straw fight fun!
Enjoying some sherbet out of the container
Yum!
Sherbet on the head! Silly Rah Rah
Sweet girl smiling!
This kid loves his choo choo's!
Rah Rah wanted to see if he could drink through the super big straw....
Not a problem for this kid!
Miss Prissy wanted some food.....pretty sure she ate more lucky charms during the weekend than Kayden did... just a hunch ;)
