The 7th of December

Well it's officially getting cold in good ol' Oklahoma. It was 18 this morning when we finally got to the car....so that means ten minutes of defrosting (I'm too lazy to scrap the windows). I usually let Kayden sit on my lap in the front seat because he loves to "drive". And as I was bored we decided to take some fun pictures! Here is how we defrost the car!

December 6!

Christmas cards..... I love Christmas cards! Opening them, seeing the different ones that everyone sends, and all the family pictures that come with them! We don't have a mantel so I tape the cards to the back of the front door. Yesterday we got our first one and today we got three! Love it! I can't wait for all the rest to come! I'm still working on ours, but hopefully they will be in the mail next week.

And here's the little guy... He stole my ice cream! Turd.

On the 5th day of December....

This afternoon I also found out that the new daycare I was looking at hired a new toddler teacher which mean Kayden switches to his new daycare in three weeks!! Wooohooo!!!

And then to end the day.... It snowed!!

Dec 4 - Christmas Tree

21 Days until Christmas....YEAH!!! I totally decorated the Sunday after Thanksgiving because I LOVE having the tree up and snowflakes decorating the house. Last year Kayden was just learning to crawl, so he didn't really bother the tree. However this year is a completely different story. I think Kayden is mesmorized by the tree and all that it has on it, which means that he takes off the ornaments and berries daily. This means that I have to decorate the tree at least twice a day. It was cute for the first couple of days, now its just a pain. He's slowly learning that he's not supposed to play with the tree, but you just gotta pick your battles. Happy Decorating!!!

December 3 - Bedlam!

Today was bedlam Saturday, which meant lots of traffic, but the always fun tailgate!!! It rained the day before, so tailgate was a little soggy..... We kept Kayden entertained with a football, and Aunt Sarah with a little help from KK decided to teach Kayden to throw the football into the water, and then stomp in the water! Kayden LOVED it!!! (definitely ALL boy!) So after we had as much fun as we could, we left to get little man warmed up. But we had a great time! And.... OSU WON!!!! GO POKES!!!!

December 2nd

December 2nd.....Its FRIDAY!!!! As we got ready for school today Kayden grabbed his little dog to take with him, then before he got out the door he decided he needed his bigger puppy dog. So we took both in the car today! He's so cute!!!

December 1st!

I'm super excited that's its December because it's my favorite time of the year! I love Christmas and its meaning, and I would leave my tree up and sing Christmas songs all year round if I could! But since I can't.... I'll make the most of this month.....with a daily blog post!!!

Yesterday was the first, do Kayden wore his first Christmas shirt. It's green, has the grinch and says gimmie all the presents! Sooo cute. I didn't get a pic but he was adorable.
And to start the month of right, we went to the Christmas parade in Stillwater! We dragged Cara and Easton along and had fun!
