Catching up...

So there are weeks when I get so caught up in work, school and family life that its hard to remember to update my blog. I might just have to schedule a weekly appointment so that I can remember to update! Gotta love the life of a mom. Here are some fun parts of our week.

Janway Family Fun!

A week with the Janway family....who wouldn't have fun?! Or go crazy?!
I love when my family comes together...as insane and similar as we all are, its always nice to have us together. This visit revolved around someone graduating college! So here's the recap...

Friday May 4
Everyone arrives...we hang out at the hotel...grab some mexican for dinner. Nothing special, just entertainment.

GRADUATION DAY!!!! Can you believe that my baby sister graduated college???!!!! Holy crap I'm old!
Congratulations Katie on completing your Bachelors in Statistics!!! We're proud of you!!!
And Cinco De Mayo!!! Perfect day to CELEBRATE!!!

After graduation we all took naps, then we gave Mom and Dad the night off for a celebratory early anniversary date night, and us girls plus Kayden did some shopping and enjoyed some Mexican!

Sunday May 6
Kayden's 2nd Birthday Party! Woohooo
Since everyone was already in town, it was the perfect time to plan a birthday party. The weather cooperated, and the park was awesome! Kayden got some great gifts and I think everyone enjoyed the Jello cookies!

Monday May 7
Visit grandma in Muskogee
Dad, Rebecca, Kayden and I headed up to Muskogee to visit with grandma Joann. We had a great time visiting and enjoyed a yummy lunch. Then we came back to Stilly and attempted to move some stuff from Katies place to mine.....that ended in a bloody nose for dad. Oopppss!!! Sorry dad!

Tuesday May 8
Pack Katie's apartment....and send dad on his way home
We finished up packing Katies apartment, and dad took Katie's car and headed north with his busted nose. :( So the girls were left to hang out and enjoy our last day.

Wednesday May 9
The family leaves....
Sad day when everyone leaves me stuck here in Stillwater. Love having the family here, sad to see them go. Katie headed home with them to hopefully find a job! Good luck on the job search and I'll be home to visit soon!

Yes, as a mother I reserve the right to be completely obsessed with my child. Of which I take great pleasure in! I love this little stinker and all his rottenness. Here's our fun this week...

Some nights Kayden refuses to go to bed, so I will let him stay up if he sits quietly on the couch next to me while I do homework. Normally this is what happens within 5 minutes....

And as it always seems.....its so much easier to take a picture of my child when he's sleeping....He's just so cute asleep!!!

So past the sleeping child....the pool at our place has finally opened!!!!
Kayden loves the tub, and did pretty good last year at the pool.......
Well he's learning. He's not too sure about walking in past his knees, but he's enjoying splashing and watching everyone else. KK and I took him over the weekend and he wanted to go touch the waterfall thing...... Good thing I can make KK do it for me!!! hahahahaha

Then during bathtime, we have crayons that someone can color with. He loves to color on the walls! He's also learned how to take the washrag and clean it off! Love this kid!
