5 days and counting

Yup, thats right!!! 5 days left until dday!!!!!!!! This pregnant lady couldn't be happier!

Until then its quality time with my main man :) I think he knows something is going to change soon, as he's been my little shadow and clingy. Its amazing what kids can pick up on. I can't wait to show him his little sister and watch them bond!

Such a rough life.....

I made a bowl of cereal and someone decided to help himself while I put the milk away.

He refused to go to school without his police car

And sometimes he gets cranky.....

But pizza can solve any temper tantrum

Although he only wanted the ham.....

And sometimes when we snuggle he catches me sleeping

And I catch him....

And we go to church every weekend =)

And the weather is perfect so we have been playing outside

And drawing pictures!

And I bet you didn't know pizza could be "seefood"

And this pregnant lady is ready. I have contractions daily, nothing regular though. As long as I make it through work tomorrow I should be good to go. So Friday night its game on! Spicy food, long walks, jumping....maybe we'll jump start the induction! 5 days to go....... 

My boss caught me like this at work....thankfully he told me not to move. hahahahaha. Love my boss!

Until then we wait.........

37 Weeks!

I am happy to say we are officially at 37 weeks, which means medically we have a full term baby and it is safe to go into labor! Wooohooo!!!!

I saw my doctor yesterday and got my first official check! I am already at 2.5cm dialated, soft, but haven't thinned out. Blood pressure is good, baby's heart beat is strong and the belly is actually measuring at 38 weeks. Since everything is right on track we discussed the option of induction.....and....with everything going on, we set a date!!!!!!! Tuesday March 19 we will be in the hospital awaiting our precious baby girl!!! I am one happy momma knowing this is almost over, but a freaked out train wreck trying to get everything done before then! Just keep breathing. =) I will see my dr again next week and then a week after that is baby!

What I miss: Not having to pee ALL the time
What I am looking forward to: 13 days until sweet baby girl is here!
Milestones: Baby is the size of a winter melon! Baby is practicing skills such as inhaling, exhaling, sucking, gripping and blinking.

Soaking it all in

Soon it won't just be my little buddy and me, but we'll have a precious addition of baby sister. As exciting as that is, I'm trying to enjoy my one on one time with Kayden before our lives change for the better. We've enjoyed a long hectic week, and spent lots of time hanging out this weekend. We went to the library, the park, out to lunch, took a fantastic nap together, cooked dinner, went shopping at Lowes, hung out with Reagan and Andrea and just enjoyed life. I'm in love with my buddy!

IT'S BABY MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our sweet baby girl will be born this month!!!!

Tuesday I will be officially full term (37 weeks) and once I hit that, its game on!

Wednesday Brett and I had our last ultrasound. Baby girl wasn't super cooperative....the only good pictures we got we of her ear and her foot.

But she is measuring perfect, heartbeat is strong and she's right where she needs to be!

And here is the belly as of this morning!

Baby Girl's Shower :)

This past weekend Andrea graciously hosted a baby shower for little girl. :) It was a small crowd, but it was perfect! The kids played well together and we ate some fabulous food, lots of candy and some delicious cupcakes! Oh and baby girl got spoiled with ruffle bottoms, sparkly hair bows and lots more. So thankful for great friends!!!!
