A few weeks ago, Brett took a trip to Colorado for a week which meant the kids and I were finding fun things to do by ourselves. The weekend that B was gone, the weather was perfect so we packed up in the car and went to the Zoo! This was the first time that K was super interested in the animals. We ended up spending 4.5 hours and saw pretty much everything!
We arrived to the giraffes at feeding time, so we were able to feed them romain lettuce.
It was awesome!
The bears were out for a swim!
We enjoyed some corndogs on the deck next to the little lake
And it was both kids first time on the carousel!
We ended up going twice!
E pooped out after the carousel ride
And we finished off the day with a ride on the choo choo train.
Ok, so I guess since it's almost May I should catch up? Too many things to do, not enough time. And spending time with my babies out ranks almost everything!
E turned one this past March! I can't believe my little baby is one. She had her one year dr appt a week later. She is right where she is supposed to be!
We also had Matt & Andrea come visit a week later. They brought some birthday presents for little Miss E, although K had more fun opening them. And we were able to pass along lots of baby things to them....baby boy Palmer was due on Easter!
Thanks for all the goodies! Here's to another wonderful year!
We made sure no one got pinched on St. Patricks day by wearing our green shirts. We also enjoyed a trip to the dr's office (E just has a cold), and since the weather was nice we got to play outside. There's nothing I love more than spending time with my babies.
Waiting for the dr
Do you spy puss in boots?

And we ended the evening with no pants. It's a new trend.
