2 weeks old

We are two weeks old today!!! YEAH!!!! Kayden is growing like a bean and is right on track with where he should be. We saw the doctor today for our two week check up. He weighs 8lb 10oz and is 21in long now. Right in the 50th percentile, so absolutely perfect. We go back to the dr at 2 months old. :)

Playing with Daddy

We are enjoying every moment of Kayden and are super excited to see him grow up. Brett is pumped to get him crawling and walking so that the soccer lessons can begin :) If Brett gets his way, our weekends will be filled with soccer/t-ball/football practices and games. Kayden will be a busy little bee!

Brett/Daddy's birthday was this past weekend so we had lots of fun celebrating. It was a simple weekend due to him working, however we still had his favorite cake....

And after daddy got home from work, it was time for a nap, so we snuggled.

Everything else has been going great. Kayden is a very mellow/laid back baby and is definately a blessing to have. He loves to snuggle which both of us love during the day, but it is our biggest struggle at night. So we are working on getting the little guy to sleep in his own crib at night so that mommy can stop sleeping on the couch with him. And our newborn pictures are in!
