7 months old

It has been a crazy couple of weeks at the Palmer household. Here's an update:

Thanksgiving was wonderful. We had Sarah, Paul and Katie over to our place for the weekend. We had a fabulous meal and an interesting game of monopoly. Paul flew back to Texas on Friday for business, but the rest of us enjoyed some Black Friday and Saturday shopping. Saturday was also Bedlam, in which we had a great time at tailgate! Sarah went to the game with her friends, while Katie, Kayden and I decorated the house for Christmas! And Paul and Sarah enjoyed the food and games so much, they said they would be back next year! I guess we have a new tradition :0)

This past week has been busy with catching up at work, looking at upcoming changes, and everyday life.
One of the biggest changes happening in two weeks, is that Kayden will be starting daycare. We have had two amazing babysitters, but with schedule changes next semester, Brett and I decided it would be best to get Kayden into a routine and the best way to achieve this was through daycare. I'm not thrilled about it still, but I'm hoping it will grow on me. It is a small, very personal daycare. We start on Monday December 20th, so wish us luck!

Whats going on with Kayden.... He is 7months old on today. He isnow having solid foods twice a day, loves to smile and show off his two teeth (we think there are more about to appear), he is army crawling all over the place! We definately can't leave him alone and expect him to be there when we get back, which means we need to finish baby proofing the house. And he is walking in his walker all over the house. He might walk and skip the crawling stage. Such a happy baby! He's still timid around big crowds and people he doesn't know, but once he warms up to you he's ok. He's changing each and every day and we are learning so much from him!

How did I get in here?
Daddy is fun!
Who knew a box could be so much fun?!
This is what happens when no one is looking
I'm gonna play soccer like my dadd
