Weekends are so much fun!!!

I love the weekends, no work, no rules, no time limits, just me and my little guy. This weekend was just that.

Friday night we went to dinner with Cara and Easton, always a good time :) Kayden and Easton do great together, and its cute how they want to do the exact same things! Its precious.
And when we got home daddy was playing xbox....until Kayden took over!

All ready for bed!!!

Saturday we just hung out at home, we worked on Cara's birthday present, took a nap, played outside, and just had fun!!

Cheesin

Not sure this is comfortable, but I'm not touching him...he's asleep!!!

And at the end of the day Kayden was going crazy!!!! I was attempting to was Miss America, and as soon as the talent competition came on, Kayden stopped in his tracks and STARED at the tv. Not sure if thats a good thing or bad, but it was cute!

Sunday we got up and went to church! Something was telling me to go, so we got ready and went, and I am so glad we did! The message was absolutely perfect, it could not have spoken to me more. The phrase of the sermon was: "better to have one hand filled with tranquility, than two with toil and chasing after the wind." The pastor also went on to say that one is good, but two is not always better. The examples he gave of debt, cars, houses, and life were eye opening. The other quote "its better to have less of what doesn't matter and more of what does" made me think alot. It really put into perspective what Brett and I truly want for our lives and for Kayden. Not what everyone else wants or what society says we have to have, but what we want and what will make us happy. I think there will be some BIG changes up ahead for us, and I can't wait to just follow our hearts.
The rest of the day was spent enjoying the beautiful weather and relaxing. And we ended the day with our favorite.....a bubble bath!

How did these bubbles get all over me?

Get them off mom!!!

I didn't say take another picture, I said get the bubbles OFF!

He loves his bubble bath, but doesn't like the bubbles on him....silly boy!
