Crazy Busy Week

Kayden has been up and down this week. I know its all part of being 3 and a boy, but sometimes he just wears me out and bedtime can't come soon enough. Thankfully he's sweet and his kisses melt my heart. Last week he started saying "you're my best friend" and it is the CUTEST thing ever!

Emery is proving to be a strong willed little girl. She hates the pureed baby food. Its almost worth not even buying it. However I am finding that she loves solid food. Last night she enjoyed some steamed peas and pasta. She has also figured out that she can get up on all fours. She doesn't last for long, but that just means crawling is coming soon! Papa...I'm going to need you to get those baby gates down from my attic.

Last weekend we decided to go to the state fair as a family. It was fun! E just chilled in the stroller most of the time. Brett and I were there for the food, and Kayden just wanted to play games! We realized very quickly which games he could play the longest for the cheapest. It doesn't take much to entertain this kid. He left with a minion, a whale, a dog and 2 little bears.
