Hoppy Easter!

We hope everyone had a great Easter. We had a quiet weekend which was nice.
Friday, Kayden had an Easter party at school. They just "hunted" eggs in their classroom. They had so much fun! Especially when they figured out they could open the eggs and found snacks!
Saturday we just relaxed at the house and then that evening we were able to go visit some good friends. It was good to get out of the house and catch up everyone. And Casey is expecting so we got to see her cute pregnant belly! She's carrying a little girl due July 11.
Sunday it rained all day, and Kayden slept in until 11am!!! I was shocked! I loved sleeping in and I'm sure he needed the rest too. We had lunch at Ihop where Kayden got to visit the Easter Bunny....he wasn't too sure what to think of him. He just stared at him. We didn't make him give him a hug, just let him stare. It was funny.
Although a quiet weekend, I'm sure next year will be more involved when he is a little bit older.

Busy busy busy!

Wow! This week has been absolutely crazy!!

Kayden is walking like a pro, and having a blast doing it. He loves the fact that he can get anywhere he wants. He has found his way into things like the kitchen cabinets, which has required mom to do some baby proofing. He also figured out that the dvd's come off of the dvd shelf....not cool, especially when they are alphabetized! Needless to say, they aren't anymore. He keeps doing it. Hahahaha.

He has 7 teeth and has the cutest smile! He has officially switched from formula to cows milk, and he loves it. He's got a girlfriend at school, her name is Austen. She loves to give him hugs and kisses all day long. Kayden tends to shove her off him though! He has a big appetitie. There really isn't anything he won't eat!

We have started to go on nightly walks an we pull Kayden in his wagon. He loves it!!! He claps his hands and is so excited. I think we could pull him around all day and he would be totally content.

We're planning his birthday parties (hopefully you got your invitations in the mail). Its only 4 weeks away! Its been a whirlwind of a year, but we've enjoyed every day of it! :0)

Other than that things are crazy busy. I've got an arts festival at work this weekend, so Brett is taking this weekend off to watch Kayden. Brett is suffering from allergies, I swear he sneezed at least 100 times yeterday! Oh and in the midst of all this we managed to buy 2 new cars! Eeekkk!!! Maybe things will slow down next week? I hope so!
