Memorial Day Weekend

This past weekend was a fairly quiet weekend, but we had lots of fun.
Friday night we celebrated Brett's birthday with steak and cookie cake. Yumm!

Saturday we went over to Andrea and Reagan's to play in the pool. Super fun! Then we went to the park and celebrated Taylors birthday!

Sunday was super fun. I got a work call that said our goats had gotten out, so I had to go wrangle 18 loose goats. That was interesting. Then we were headed to a new exotic animal park on the south side of town. Well when we arrived it was POURING down rain. So we all sat in our cars for almost 20 minutes. It finally let up and the owners said if we still wanted a tour they would take us. So we all piled out and although we got rained on, we had a blast! We fed the deer, ostrich, zebra, lemurs, camel, and saw lots of other animals. One of the best things to come to Stillwater!

we're ready to go!

Monday we spent the entire day in our pajamas and did nothing! Well needed and well deserved!

K turns 4!!!!

Kayden's birthday fell on a Tuesday, so we planned a week long celebration. This kid was in heaven!

First we got some presents from Gamma, Papa, Ecca and KK. So we opened them early!

Thank you!!!

We started out with our new chalkboard and drew on it for him =)

On his birthday we have a tradition of a birthday breakfast cupcake. So we started the day with that. There's not much that beats a cupcake for breakfast!

Then on the way to school he created his own song.

We took cupcakes to school for him and his classmates. They loved them. After school we went to the balloon store and bought 4 birthday balloons.

Where's Kayden?

The next day we went out to dinner at El Vaquero so K could wear the birthday hat and get sung to. He loved it!!

Finally on Saturday we had his party! We did a painting art project, opened presents, played tag, ate cake and had a great time!
