Emery is 9months old!

Where does the time go???? My sweet little bathtub baby is 9 months old!!!!

I fall more and more in love with this girl every day. She is such a joy to be around and her little smile is amazing. She is crawling like a pro, pulling up on everything and will cruise just a little. We bought her a walker yesterday, so this might help her along. She is eating 3 meals a day now. Table foods are fun. She loved sweet potatoes and green bean cassarole at thanksgiving.

Her 9 month appointment went perfect.
Stats:
19lb 8oz - 50th percentile
28in - 50th percentile
She wasn't scheduled for any shots, however she did need a flu booster. So she got one anyways.

She has her bottom two teeth, loves to follow us around the house. Kayden is enjoying the mobile stage of E. They play well together. He still kisses her goodnight and helps find her pacifiers. She hasn't really started babbling, but she has quite the facial expressions. And she still loves to snuggle. She is a mommy and daddy's girl to say the least. And she is finally getting some hair!!!! Lol.

I love this girl!

Our busy lives

We've made it through another week! How?? Sometimes I just don't know. Let's see last week consisted of.... Child dedication meeting, lifegroup, trip to okc to the apple store, breakfast with santa and child dedication.

Tuesday we had our child dedication meeting. This was to get ready for the actual dedication on Sunday. Emery had her picture taken (I'll upload that when I get it). She looked adorable. And Brett and I had an info meeting.

Wednesday is my lifegroup night. Normally there is child care at the church, however due to the holidays there was none. So we met up at chickfila with all the kids, that way the kids could play and the moms could chat. Fabulous idea.

Thursday we ended up making an unexpected trip to okc to visit the apple store. My phone decided to crash, and the only place that could work on it was the apple store. Thankfully it was covered under warranty! After that we drove through the Christmas lights in Nichols Hills and Chesapeake. K loved them! E was out cold.

This kid is nuts

Trying on mom's glasses....

Friday was chill because we had to be up early on Saturday for Breakfast with Santa.

Saturday was Breakfast with Santa. My babysitter fell through due to strep throat, so I just took the kids with me. It was a blast! For a first time event, it went very well and the kids behaved decently. I have some fabulous co-workers who don't mind helping with the kids :)

Saturday we did come home to a package on the front porch. And everyone should know that if you send a big present early that is difficult to wrap, it'll just get opened.....sooooo.......
Gamma sent Kayden new bedding!!!!!! HE LOVES IT!!!!

Sunday was dedication at church. We dedicated Emery to the lord. And what was a little more enjoyable is that my best friend Michele also dedicated 3 of her kids at the same time. We are blessed with a wonderful lifegroup that prayed over all of our children and will be there to help us through life and with raising our kids in a christian home.

here's my silly girl

Now its a new week, lots of work to catch up on, and lots of prep work to get ready for the Janway family who arrives on Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you say excited?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I told Kayden that everyone was coming and now he tells me, KK and RahRah are coming to my house. I guess everyone else is chopped liver. Lol. Gotta love the little turd.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I always feel like I'm playing catch up on this blog. I think I either need more hours in a day or less things to do.......I'm leaning towards the second but not sure that will happen anytime soon.

Things are always busy in my world. Work is going great. I have a ton of work to do, and my boss just keeps giving me more. Thats a good thing, it gives me job security. I love what I'm doing at work. This weekend I am putting on a breakfast with Santa! We will see how it goes....

The kids are fantastic!

Kayden has his own little attitude now. But he's also the sweetest thing. I've taught him to say a prayer before we eat. Last night it went like this: Dear Lord, thank you for our pizza. Amen. Hahahahahaha.....at least he's in the right direction! He's a character. He loves his sister but still loves his one on one time.

Emery has blossomed this past month. She went from a little army crawl to full on crawling and has now figured out how to pull up. She's not cruising or really walking yet but its just around the corner! She also has two teeth (bottom front two) and is working on more. Her giggle is contagious and she adores her daddy and her brother.

apples are yummy!

Thanksgiving was great. We spent the day at Brett's parents houses. The kids had a blast, the food was fantastic and the weather was just as nice!

playing nicely

Christmas decorations are up, and the kids don't really know whats going on. Kayden doesn't seem too interested, he's still young. And I thought E would be all over the tree...not so much. I'm ok with a low key Christmas. Although I don't think it'll be super low key with the whole Janway clan in town!

Last week it snowed in Oklahoma! Kayden was super excited to go play in the snow. He wanted to build a snowman. Well he and daddy built a lump of a snowman (the snow was too soft to do much with). But K had fun running through it all and E stayed inside :)

That's it in a nutshell! Off to catch up on work! Well....actually I'll do that after lunch ;)
