18 month checkup!

So today Mr. Kayden had his 18 month checkup. He continues to be on the right track with his development and looks perfect! Of course!

Stats:
35in height (off the charts! 100+%)
28lb weight (75%)
So he's getting taller and thinning out!

Only one shot today since we got our flu shot a couple months ago. And everybody who gets a shot should definitely get a sucker!!

Thanksgiving!

There are so many things to be thankful for and we should all be thankful for them year round versus just one month out of the year. I think Thanksgiving at our house is becoming a tradition, which I don't mind (but I need more counter space!) I enjoy cooking the meal and we have a great time just hanging out and relaxing....naps are included in the afternoon schedule too! This year Sarah, Paul and Katie came over and we had thanksgiving lunch, played xbox kinect, watched football, looked at new cars, took naps, played games, and just had a great time.

I think its nap time....

Black Friday we decided not to go crazy and shop at midnight, but to enjoy the day. Paul and Brett headed to the car lot to see if they could get a good deal (no go, but its all good). Sarah, Katie, Kayden and me headed to the mall. We had a good time, but not a lot of good deals. At least Kayden enjoyed his candy cane from Santa! Paul flew out Friday afternoon, and the rest of us headed back home to prop our feet up!

Saturday Brett had to work so us girls and Kayden enjoyed lunch and then dropped Sarah off at the airport. It was a great weekend and I can't wait for next year! Feel free to come join us!

Gotta put on my deodorant!

Good morning smiles!

Everything before thanksgiving

Wow....I check this website daily, however I fail to update my own blog. Epic fail.

So whats been going on. Lets see.....Kayden is full of energy. I don't think the child ever stops! He is babbling up a storm, although his favorite word is dada, which he says all day long. Sometimes it would be nice to hear mama, but I'll survive. I'll just tell the story by pictures (its so much easier right now)

OSU Homecoming!

GO POKES!!!

Homecoming in Stillwater is a BIG thing! Monday morning of Homecoming week they turn the fountain orange, Friday is walk around, Saturday you have the parade, tailgate and football game, and Sunday is recovery. And to add to the excitement, Mom, Rebecca and Sarah all came into town!!!! Friday Kayden wore his orange sweatsuit, which he looked adorable in. We all went to walk around and then out for dinner.

I've got my orange on!

Saturday we started the morning off with the Sea of Orange Parade. We sat with my friend Cara and her son Easton. Kayden loved the horses and dogs in the parade. He even saw an OSU police car and yelled Dada...too bad it wasn't dad :(

Me and my buddy!

Cara loves the parade!!! (don't kill me for posting this!)

Then we headed to tailgate to hang out with the SlowPoke crew, eat some fabulous food and get ready for the game. Mom, Rebecca and I didn't have tickets so we went back to the house, where we enjoyed some nap time and waited on Sarah and Katie to come home. Once everybody was back we had a great time! Kayden loves attention and his giggle is contagious! Here is the rest of our evening.

I'm gonna get you!

Sunday Mom, Rebecca and Sarah headed back to Texas so we headed to Edmond for lunch at Ted's with our friend Keri, who was celebrating her birthday. Lunch was great, and we had a fun time with the short weekend. Mom and Rebecca are now taking care of Sarah who had some dental surgery this morning. They head back to Michigan tomorrow.
